Where strangers become friends, and friends become family.
A new church community forming in indy.
+ You are not just welcome, you’re wanted. + Broken lives become beautiful. + Weary souls find rest. + Lost things are recovered. + Second chances are normal. + People who have no place find their place. + Strangers become friends, and friends become family
This is the place where…
Why the place?
The place wasn’t born out of a desire to start another church. It was born out of pain.
Through personal failure, disappointment, loss, and a battle with cancer, we know what it feels like to walk through seasons you never saw coming. Seasons that leave you with more questions than answers. Seasons where the people you thought would be there aren’t. Seasons where shame gets loud, hope feels distant, and even when you’re surrounded by people, you can still feel incredibly alone.
We know what it feels like to need a place. A place where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay. A place where your worst moment doesn’t get to define the rest of your story. A place where you can wrestle with your questions, find people who will walk with you, and encounter a God who isn’t afraid of your broken pieces.
Our story has taught us that pain doesn’t have to be wasted. The very places that should have taken us out can become the places from which we help bring healing to others. What we’ve walked through has changed the way we see people, the way we lead, and the kind of community we want to spend our lives building.
That is why we are building the place.
We know the place may not be for everyone, and that’s okay. But for those who need hope, restoration, healing, freedom, and genuine community, this could be the place!
And maybe you’re not the one who needs that kind of place right now. Maybe you’ve walked through your own hard seasons and God has brought healing to your story. Maybe something inside of you wants to turn around and help create that kind of place for somebody else. Then this could be your place too.
We want to build a community where people can meet God and discover that their story isn’t over. Where shame loses its voice. Where strangers become friends and friends become family. Where people don’t just attend something, but find people to laugh with, cry with, heal with, grow with, and do life with.
We can’t promise life won’t hurt. Ours has. We can’t promise there won’t be difficult seasons. We’ve lived through them. But we will spend the rest of our lives using what we’ve walked through to make sure other people don’t have to walk through theirs alone. Our pain gave us a purpose: to create a place for people.
A place to meet God. A place to get free. A place to find your people. And eventually, a place where your story can help create a place for someone else.
We’re Micahn and April Carter, and that’s why we’re building the place.
Your journey at the place
Meet God
Our greatest desire is simple: that you would meet God. Not religion. Not a church. Not us. But the real, living God. Because we believe when you truly encounter Him, your whole world will change.
Get Free
We all have a past. We all have sinned. We all carry things life has put on us. But you weren’t meant to live under the weight of any of it. Jesus came to set you free so nothing holds you back from the life God intended for you.
Find Your People
Life wasn’t meant to be lived alone. We want to help you find your people that you can laugh with, cry with, grow with, and do life with. Strangers become friends, and friends become family.
Create A Place For Others
You have something someone else needs. Use your gifts, your story, and your resources to create a place where others can meet God, get free, and find their people.
How You Can Help
Pray
Wherever you are in the world, you can commit to covering this work in prayer, asking God to send the right people and the right team, to open doors, and to fully meet every financial need as we create a place where people can meet Him.
Give
Reaching people in Indy takes real resources, your generosity helps make ministry possible even if you never live here or walk through the doors yourself. This support can be a one-time gift or ongoing monthly support, whatever feels right for you.
